Newly featured!  We need to gather together more photos of the many Ravenstead A&S projects, but here's a beginning...

Hjordis' moose antler lucet.

Steingrim's wax-boiled leather lamellar armor.

Steingrim & Hjordis' raven banner.

Period stools for the encampment, based on the Lund stools by Stephen Francis Wyley, made by Steingrim.  These are very sturdy stools, made to withstand regular camp use by large (i.e. weighty) folks.  They also come in very handy as makeshift tables during mealtime and also as small craft tables.  Highly recommended as a project for your own encampment!  Here are Steingrim's directions for making your own stools.

The first stages of a period glass bead kiln by Steingrim.
At this point the kiln has been formed but not fired.
Current plans are to fire it in a pit in July of 2002 after it has completely dried.

One set of the unfinished dual bellows for the bead kiln.  There are two of these, to be worked in tandem so that there is an uninterrupted flow of air into the kiln.  As you can see, the leather has yet to be attached.  By Steingrim.
