Thinking of getting a dog?

Why not get yourself one of a breed that Norsemen might've had?   (Or as close as you can get.) Most importantly, you should consider if you want to get a dog at all - caring for pets is a responsibility, and you should always look at the traits of the animals you intend to keep in your home.  If you have an apartment and are away all day, and excitable dog might not be for you.
